Please don't respond to this post. I figured it out.

"gag" should be all CAPS

I'm up to the point of installing DOS 7.1 Hopefully, it's on that 
fargin' Linux CD or I'm dead.

Gotta get a floppy tomorrow. Fun and games, I love this stuff, having 
a great time...

I got the CD made properly, and did the partition, formatted to fat32.

Rebooted, typed "gag"

Message, "could not find kernel image: gag"

Any suggestions?
