I'm re-installing all my software on a clean install of Windows XP.
I can get WriteLog to control my ICOM 775 at 9600 BPS on COM1, but not =
through a RocketPort card on COM4. On the same system, DxBase can =
control the radio via the RocketPort card on COM4, so I think the radio =
is connected properly. =20
Is there something special about WriteLog and RocketPort access to a =
serial port for ICOM radio control? I'm using the "Setup" and "Ports" =
dialog box.
I've tried 1200 Baud, that doesn't seem to make much difference.
I'm using Writelog 10.27G, downloaded today.
I'd like to keep COM1 open for software that doesn't understand that =
there can be COM ports > 4.
