I still get e-mail bulletins from VAR Business and Microsoft from my past
business and I have noted that Microsoft only plans on supporting one OS
as soon as possible and that will be NT as we are seeing with XP. They
want to keep all the
of the windows 9X features and bring them under NT.
The other thing that is being repeated by MS is they want to move
EVERYTHING to USB and get away from not only LPT support but also from
Com ports. We need to plan on only having USB in most every hardware
manufacturers PC's in the future and adapt our software to this.
