[WriteLog] Rig control and CW Keying won't work at same time

I am using WriteLog and CW keying works fine. I am running XP for the OS but
that should not be the problem (unless you try to use LPT for CW) so I will
give you my setup. I would not try to use LPT for keying on any os and it
will not work at all on NT/WIN2000/XP in most cases without a driver.

I don't think you can use the same port for CW and rig control or least I
would not do it.

COM1 Rig Kenwood Auto Poll Yes But in the ini file I had to set the
COM1BAUD=38400 since Gui unexplainably does not support that? If you use a
lower then you do not have to do this.

COM2 CW TenTec Auto Poll Yes BUT NOTHING other than the CW button means
anything here and are don't cares.

Other don't cares (I THINK) are DVK Sound Board, Rotor Control on COM Port
WHATEVER is default.

You MUST set CW Keyer Type PC Generates.
You MUST set All Mode PTT on CW Port RTS.

You MUST use COM 2 RTS for PTT and DTR for keying . Anything else will not
work.

You MUST have the radio in CW and the program MUST know that. The rig
control should show CW as the mode. The box left of the entry MUST show CW
as the mode and if it does not and you do not use rig control then you must
set it here before CW will work.

No attachments allowed here but I will privately send you a screen shot of
my port setup.

Yes it can be a bear. This is one of the negatives of the program but once
it is going it works well.
One thing that can goof it up is if you change things or if somehow you save
the configuration when it is not working correctly. Your ini file is now
destroyed (set to the new not working or not wanted settings) and you have
to start over. That is why I save a copy of the ini and contest files once I
get it working the way I want it to so I can always recover at the start of
a contest and not go through this nightmare again.
