Good point. But while we are moving toward better standardization why not
have the contest organizers simply accept ADIF as the required file format
as do LOTW and eQSL. As it contains all the required information (or could
be made to) it would be unnecessary for a second standard to exist. It seems
ADIF is already in widespread use for importing and exporting QSO data in
logging software. While I think this makes a lot of sense Cabrillo has
become so widely used by contest organizers that I have few expectations
that it will ever happen.
