I used my MK1100 for the first time in the past UHF contest and was very
pleased with the automatic operation of SO2R, particularly the ability
to have automatic frequency selection via the two parallel ports with
frequency data. I have them interfaced to all of my transverters.

BUT, something seemed wrong with my cw. It was erratic, sometimes
skipping a beat. During the contest I attributed it to a possibly
flakey key paddle. Now with additional testing I find that even if I
complete the circuit manually the string of both dits and dahs come out
erratic. In other words, if I short the dits side so that all I get is
a constant stream of dits, they come out repeatedly erratic. Same for
the dah side.

Any clues?? Bad setting?

Thanks
Phil K3TUF
