[WriteLog] WriteLog and SteppIR

Setup: WinXP; WriteLog, SteppIR Monstr
Is there some way to get WriteLog to use the split freq (VFO B) for transmit 
when split is set?  At present,
in contests on 40M, I have to set the SteppIR control to manual to select 
the freq when in split and the xmit stn is received on VFO A.  Tnx
