Here is a copy of the several [Rttyrite] sections of writelog.ini on one of
my PCs. Don't copy or use any of this. The only point is to illustrate
what is created in writelog.ini after setting up a Rttyrite window on both
receivers for SO2V and then configuring a bunch of Rttyrite Clone
receive-only windows on each of those.
Note the NumClonesAtStartup=59 entry in each of the main Rttyrite ini
sections. This tells WriteLog how many clones to open when it starts up.
Since WriteLog only sets up a maximum of 10 Clones per main Rttyrite window,
WriteLog looks at the number 59 and truncates it to 10. Then it opens 10
Rttyrite Clone windows for each receiver. Since I originally had only 4
Clones setup per receiver, it opens 6 virgin Rttyrite windows for the
remainder of the 10. A virgin Rttyrite window has no TNC selected, but a
basic ini section is created.
For the "mine is bigger than yours" crowd, WriteLog can boast a limit of 22
Rttyrite windows per PC while N1MM Logger is relegated to only 6 (Two main
DI windows plus 4 receive-only DI windows distributed anyway you desire
among the two main ones).
