microHAM micro2R also provides all the necessary mic switching (and
muting) for SO2R phone operation.

It is also preferable to use separate (USB) sound cards for digital
operation - since that permits using both receivers in rigs like the
FT-1000D/MP/MK V, FT-2000, FT-5000, FT-9000, K3 and IC-7800 that have
true dual receive capability. The dedicated sound cards can generally
connect to the transceiver Line In/Line Out ports and remain connected
independent of phone or CW operation.

Which also says "not available"

ARRGH! And the replacement is twice the cost and much less useful to
us. I do see some on EBay.

The Tascam has only two inputs - either Line L/R or mono line and
mic. That does not work for someone who is looking to do SO2R voice
and digital by routing the mic through the sound card and having the
sound card route the mic to left or right radio (which was one of
the requirements that started this thread) unless they are willing
to re-cable the station when switching between digital and voice
modes.

I don't do that -- I use the YCCC SO2R box to switch my mic.
