- In order to do power on/off you need the optional RPON module from ACOM. If you have that then you can turn the amp on and off remotely. A bug in the amp, I think, prevents you from clearing the PROT

- Yes, most likely relays causing loss of rx signal. Another quick test to confirm relay dirt/corrosion is to leave the amp in standby and put 100w through the amp, this usually temporarily burns a bet
