Could be but the best amp I ever built was with 3 x 4-400A in GG, no parasitics no mickey mouse stuff it just runs and runs, could I have been lucky perhaps. Has around 4 kV on it and pinns the 1 Amp

By the way, no need for sockets or chimneys. Just drill a hole in the chassie and clamp the tube right to the chassie then use one side of filament for the screen and bias common point, design aka YU
Indeed, agree 100%. However just listen on the bands, there are lots and lots of very very wide signals out there and I frankly don´t know how to solve the problem. Talking about 4CX250´s
