Probably not. I've read somewhere (probably here) that the log checking software is able to detect "unstable station" exchange information, and does not throw the contact out. 73, de Hans, K0HB _____

Fair enough. First, the task here isn't to "educate the masses". ("the masses", what a patronizing term!) The task is to clean up the act of a tiny, tiny minority. And the solution is painfully obvi
Well there you have it then. Your good work can and does catch cheaters, and when presented to the contest sponsors, does get logs withdrawn. Good job. The contesting community is in your debt. But a
I don't think the issue is so much "when" you do it, but "what" you do. Grooming your log without the pressure of making the next QSO seems to me outside the spirit of the competition. Sitting back
If it happens in "real time/heat of battle" -- ie., two guys at a M/M listening in parallel headsets and "deciding" seems perfectly acceptable to me. Flagging the QSO for later leisurely playback, re

I have an Ameritron AL-1200. You can touch 1.5KW legal (USA) limit on every band, and it's run a lot of contests in perhaps 15 years of use. So far it's been trouble free. I think the 3CX1200A7 is a
I keep two flavors of loggers on my computer. For general log keeping I use Logger32. It's sort of ugly, the programming conventions aren't very "conventional", but it works, I have several hundred-
Since my log in CQWW will always be too thin to win any award, the only reason I submit it is to help MWA in the "Club Competition". Not submitting would make me feel good about "retaining the priva
