Had the same problem with my Omni-D. Do clean the crystal pins and sockets first. Sockets can be cleaned with a toothpick moistened with DeOxit. Is that don't completely fix it, you can tighten up th

I'd personally still do more troubleshooting. Doing things without cause to do so has gotten me into bunches of trouble. With a little SW reciever placed close to the circuit, switch from band to ban
