My experience with Scouts is that they are a reliable, fun rig to operate. They are NOT battery friendly, in my experience, starting to "complain" when the supply voltage drops much below 12VDC, and

Only a suggestion, and is probably worth what you are paying for it, but in my experience, best thing to do with that model mic is take the amplifier out of the base, and throw it in the nearest tras
