I sure like my C31XR at 79' with a Delta 240 mounted 10' above it. I plan on changing out the 240 with a Delta 230/240 and lower it to about 7' above the C31xr then add a WARC 2/2 at the 10' level. T

When ever a storm is approaching my station you can hear a bowl (kings size bowl) of rice krispies up on top of the tower. I have a F12 C31 and a F12 D240 and the elements are insulated from the boom

F12 just went to a new coil design on the delta series. I just took delivery of a 240/230 which has 2 elements on 40 and 2 elements on 40 with the new coils. The new design is stouter than the origin
