Jason... Also, consider that when closing in on that many watts, there are other things going on. Lights may dim or flicker with keying. TVI happens..even if you are on cable. Neighbors may hear you.

I think I saw a post recently on this subject, but cannot recall. When I switch in my 9 Mhz IF filter, the s meter signal strength drops about 3 S units. This happens with a 250 cycle or a 500 cycle
