Ulf. you connect a resistor in series with the meter not in shunt with it. The resistor is a value which will give the correct meter deflection for the plate current. 73, Dan, N5AR __________________

I have owned an HC4 relay for a number of years. I just checked it on my 9kv hi pot tester and it shows only 2 microaamps leakage at 9kv. That is as low as the best of my other vac relays and better
