I had some similar problems. If you have usb to serial adaptors make sure they have the FDTI chip set.  Prolific chip sets don't work with WL and 64 bit windows 7, etc.  Your rig control also needs a

Al, I just wanted you to know that I have the same problem. No frequency from the rig is reported to Writelog. I can change the frequency from the menu, thus there is communication between Writelog a

Have you tried running the program in compatibility mode.  Most versions of windows have comparability mode. 73 de Frank, N8WXQ That probably doesnt help much, but now you know WL will run on Win11.

I am trying to set up the writelog to properly key an IC 705. Owners of the IC-7300 many also be able to help as these radios are similar. The version of Writelog is the latest one.  Radio connection

Those who have an IC-7610 or IC-7300 may help as well as these radios are similar. I have not been unable to get WriteLog to key CW correctly using  the USB cable to the radio or by using a Winkeyer2
