Any prefix that you dont already have. :-) With about 1,000 potential US prefixes already licensed but so many of them inactive in contests, hundreds of them could be considered fairly rare. 73 Bob K

You could do a ULS license search on the FCC website where you just type in each prefix, and see how many licenses have been issued for that prefix. There are some Alaska prefixes which have never be

All you have to do is plug in a prefix into your contest software and see if it exist on SCP. If not, its super rare. If it only exists once on the database, its pretty unusual but exists. Ed N1UR -

I think you are looking at this the wrong way. You are thinking "rare", as in a rare entity in a DX contest, and folks will chase it to add to their mult count. With so many mults available in the WP
