- I have a Brown Bros. keyer paddle and a Bencher straight key. The Brown Bros. won't stay put. I'm considering a Bencher BY-1 or BY-2. Anyone like this one or have another recommendation? Thanks. Also

- I have a BY-2 and I'm happy with it. I would avoid the MFJ version. I looked at it and in my opinion the one I saw was inferior. If you can do it, go to a vendor and have him put all his paddles out

- At the risk of being branded a heretic, let me say I think you'll find the Bencher to be fine. To keep it in one spot, I picked up a trick from Marshall at MorseX.com (careful on that spelling!) - us

- If your paddle "walks around" on your desk, you might try placing the paddle on a computer mouse pad. The pad's textured rubber backing provides a good grip on the desk top, and the weight of the pad

- The mouse pad is a good fix and I use it with my "bug" and paddle side-by-side. To eliminate the raised height, I cut out the pad where the "feet" were and this allows the bug and paddle to rest dire
