Hi Sandy, The Omni VI uses a bunch of crystals in an oscillator as part of the local oscillator system. There would be one crystal for each band, were it not for the fact that a few of them are used

Jack, Check the TenTec Reflector archives. This problem has been extensively discussed in the past and many suggestions made. As I recall, all I had to do to cure mine was slightly detune the 20mHz o

You can get the 30 meter oscillator locking to the reference by adjusting the inductor for the 30 meter crystal, or by adjusting the reference. If you choose the latter, I strongly recommend checkin

As I almost went down the Omni 6 plus road do I read correctly that a modern transceiver competing in the same price arena as the Icom Pro or the FT 1K series not only chirps but requires regular twe

Regarding the Corsair II and PSK-31. I don't have any problems using my last production run Corsair II on PSK-31. What drift there is from cold start to stable is about 200 Hz over twenty minutes. ht

Can't disagree with that Gary. I was running a Corsair-1 when I bought the JST135 and at that time was into Clover demanding a high degree of frequency stability which the Corsair could not handle bu
