?  I have an old copy of 97, but paragraph D defines excessive splatter
as that which is outside the amateur radio band in use.  If an AM signal
can legally be 12kHZ wide, so can a SSB, DSB or an FM signal.  W6CHR's
G2DAF amp was several times wider than 12kHZ and he was never cited.
