Phil,

I took a second look at the manual and found that it says
"the amplifier can be operated at most frequencies outside
the amateur bands", so I went ahead and checked it on
30, 17, and 12 meters. Other than slightly higher input
VSWR, it seems to work fine on these three bands.
Perhaps the choke resonance is parked in the 11 meter
band. I need to call Henry about getting a hand crank knob
for the roller inductor (it takes forever to QSY with the
regular knob), I can ask them about the choke when I call.

73 de Mike, W4EF...........................
