Colin, can you narrow it down a bit beyond 'the fifties'? I have most QSTs from 
that era but if you or anyone can narrow it below 120 issues.....

Water Cooling:

Jo Jennings, W6EI, installed a converted water cooled 4CX250 in the base of his 
mobile whip.  He converted.  I think Eimac subsequently built some water cooled 
version based upon the results.  There was a writeup in CQ or QST in the 
fifties.
