It's actually not bad if you choose a freq where the reactance is less than about 100 Ohms. So for your 9uH use the lowest freq (1.8MHz) where the reactance will be around 100 Ohms. Use very short low inductance leads of course.

On the other hand the calculated inductance should be perfect, so why measure it?
