I am well underway collecting parts for an HF amp using an Eimac YC179
tube.
Even though I am not expecting to power it with a HV-supply that are
able to bring out the full potential of the tube, I would like to be
sure I am using components adequately dimensioned for it.
I have a complete and very clean T-368 transmitter that have capacitors,
inductors and switches that seems excellent candidates for being
carefully relocated to the YC179 project. The T-368 components physical
size and values seems in my opinion like being suitable for this
project. I may be dead wrong.
