I don't understand the dislike of Ebay. I see it written as
"FleaBay" , "EPay" , and various other condescending terms.
Over ten years, I have close to TWO HUNDRED purchases and probably
ten to fifteen thousand dollars spent.
I've never been shorted or scammed, and by my conservative estimates,
I have saved around 50% of what I would have spent through other
outlets.
I've only had one dispute, and it was handled in a friendly ,
professional maner between the seller and myself, but backed with a
money back guarantee from PayPal.
If you don't like Ebay, don't use Ebay. How much simpler could that be ?

I for one wouldnt be very efficient doing amp repairs or
construction without the occassional Ebay or other lead. IMO a lead
is a lead be it Ebay or any other source.
If all you want to do is sponge off of technical posts without
contributing anything but a complaint that is your
perogative....however.........that is not the original intent of the
forum.
