Not much use, here in VK6. All you'll see for most of the time, on most bands, is a flat trace. We're far enough away from everybody else in the world, to be able to enjoy the spectrum to ourselves.

Oh, the power line noise is always there, to put the trace up onto the S9 mark.

That capability is already here. Check out the FlexRadio 6000 series.
I bought a 6300 (the low end model) about a year ago mostly out of
curiosity. I will never go back.

If at all possible, see one in person. The pictures don't do it
justice. The first time you spread out an entire band and it starts to
sink in what you are actually seeing, you won't go back either.
