K5ZD> Only use PTT now because the W5XD keyer box makes it easy and is able
to close the PTT a few milliseconds before transmitting to save wear and tear on the amp relays. PTT also saves a lot of wear and tear in the radio itself and assures decent first dot! Guess who was VO0HQ recently? The only reasonable explanation for full BK comes from W0UN for detecting own echo on 10 m open propagation path. 73 de Mario, S56A, N1YU _______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list CQ-Contest@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/cq-contest |
