The 40M QRP frequency in North America has been 7040 for about 20 years.
I believe it was 7060 before that.
Now, after some discussion, QRP-ARCI is listing 7030 as the 40M "QRP
Center of Activity by Band and Mode", although this will not alleviate the
perceived interference problem from RTTY.
Like any change, it will take a year or five to be fully accepted!
