How about this as an added bit of info to see if you are assisted or
not.....?

Unplug that chunk of CAT-5 cable going to your Ethernet/Network card
Disable your wireless connection on your computer.
(IE: no network connection of ANY kind)
Don't answer the telephone or cell phone.
Turn off the VHF/UHF radio that connects to the local packet cluster.
Don't ask stations on the air about any propagation, nor to spot you.

There. Spin the VFO on your radio and use your ears. Now see how you do.

Seems pretty simple.

Almost seems like some posters here are asking us to bless their "outside
help" (ie: assistance) so they can sleep better at night, even though it
seems pretty clear what outside assistance is.

Think "operate like you would've been able to in 1963 at a remote location"
and other than SS finals and a computer for logging, you'd pretty much have
it.

Respectfully,

Mike VE9AA
