Interesting Ron.  So I guess the question is expanded from the original to what 
the requirement is for someone to use their own call in a contest generically.  
If the "control operator" with the call is present, its not a Single Op entry.

I wondered about that, but the op in question had a 2x1 prior to his current 
call.  The 2x3 in question is assigned to an Extra in TX... not the same name, 
not even close.

Which may be why a polite inquiry to the op in question might well be in order.
