Our Australian supplier has said that YDI will no longer supply the KN105
boards on their own. They are moving to selling the complete units.
I agree that is a real shame. We have a fairly large Karlnet based network in
Australia and have invested heavily in the Technology.

Subject: [Karlnet] RE: YDI to discontinue sale of Karlnet OEM Boards
So I suppose there's a chance KN-105 and KN-205 boards may be
unavailable soon. Officially unavailable, anyway. I haven't been
able to buy them anywhere for the last month. If YDI makes this
technology available only in their own units, I can't imagine the
price will compete with the CPE units we all put together. I really
like the Karlnet software and hardware, and I hope that I won't need
to abandon it and rebuild my net. Fortunately, I'm new enough to scrap
the technology and rebuild if their decisions force the hand.
I hope I'm concerned over nothing, and we'll see all boards available
again soon. I was told by KN support the availability issue was caused
by moving manufacturing to another state.
Lastly, anyone have any used 105 or 205 boards to sell?
David Dietrich
