This is a dual band router.  It shuts down the 5+ MHz bands, as well.  Looking 
like the best approach is
to junk and report model number to Panasonic first.
No response = FCC.

2.54 GHz, If you're shutting stuff down at a great distance, I'd be worried 
about radiation leaks.  If you don't have a microwave radiation tester, I'd
