"I've converted my house to the Great Value 60 watt dimmable
LED's. They were $1.88 for a long time, but are now $2.44. I
haven't noticed any heat, buzzing or RFI."
I don't use the dimmables. I started to play with a few but found them all
to be high powered broadband jammers from LF to VHF. I figure it has
something to do with internal switching mode power supplies that create
pulse width outputs relative to voltage input. I tried many brands and many
wattages from just a few Watts up, all had the same issue. Maybe technology
has changed, before or after you bought yours. I didn't buy any Great Value
dimmables to try in the 60W range because several others were too
problematic. Based on problems I've had with dimmers going back to the 70's
I'd never consider them anyway.
