*What was it for you? The smell of tube gear warming up
on a cold winter night, the first faint reply to your shaky CQ,
a big old floor radio with tuning eye, voices from the other side
of the world coming out of a radio you built or actually talking
to some one on a radio you built......magic pure and simple.
Gotta go light up the Zenith and play a bit......yes it has the
green eye :)>
