Speaking of USB and com ports...
I just switched to a new Dell Windows 7 machine with no com ports. For
Roundup, I plugged in my Edgeport 8, (8 port serial to USB adapter) loaded
the drivers for each port, and it worked perfectly! Used it for SO2R and
also for FSK. I used the built in USB port on the Icom IC-7600 for a sound
card and rig control. With Windows 7, you can adjust the input level from
the USB soundcard in the 7600 to MMTTY.
The other rig was an Icom 751A with a Piexx board for rig control.
