I did about 1800 RTTY Q's from the recent W1AW/8 (MI) experience using N1MM,
MMTTY, 2tone, K3/P3 combination. Keep your macros short, indicate "UP' if
working split and have fun. I used the "Dxpedition" contest format in N1MM.
Like you I have made 100's of contacts working a DX stations when the DX was
working split. But when I was the DX working split it was a bit different.
So what I did prior to the W1AW/8 (MI) week I practice being the DX by
running N1MM with Dxpedition contest format and put the K3 in "Tx TEST"
mode. Then I would find a W1AW/# station running RTTY working a pileup and
I would also work that same pileup. Of course in "Tx Test" mode there is no
output but that exercise did point out a few issues prior to going live.
