I don't think anyone is throwing out uniques as such.  The question was
originally what % of uniques is acceptable.  Apparently some log
checking programs would disqualify a log with more than a certain % of
uniques.  Probably the cut off would be above any reasonable
expectation. Otherwise, uniques are thrown out only if the checker or
computer determines that it is a miscopied call or if it is an
impossible call (not in some data base believed to be complete).  73,
