A new version of the TR manual is now available. FTP upload to the regular
site appears to have been down for a while and I have been unable to upload
the manual to the usual location. I expect that service will be restored
shortly, and I will keep trying throughout the day. However, in the
meantime, it is available from my own site (see URL below, click on the
"Radio" button and then select the "TR manual" menu item).
Changes this time around:
Added description of editable log.
Updated Avery label number
Replace N0SS figure with new two-page version.
Added emergency HELP! question to the Troubleshooting Guide.
Added warnings that BAND MAP DECAY TIME is not working correctly at the
moment. (Am waiting for a fix to be mentioned in the Release Notes.)
Added description of what to do when a station answers the first-radio CQ
while you are making a second-radio QSO in SO2R mode.
Added description of new ctrl-] command (CT1BOH info screen).
Added section on working the CQ WW contest.
Synchronised with TR 6.56
I will post here when I have successfully uploaded the new version to the
TR home page.
