Good day, everyone.
I would like to ask a few questions to any of you who have operated a
Pegasus enough to have a good feel for it. My main question is how do you
like the receiver? I currently use an Omni D (series B) with all of the
optional filters and a noise blanker installed, and I love the recieve
quality of that radio. It is very quiet, yet very sensitive, and the
selectivity is good. It is especially great for listening to CW. Is the
Pegasus receiver anywhere in the same ball park? The reason I ask is
because I am considering buying a Jupiter when it finally comes out, and it
should have the same receive characteristics as the Pegasus. However, if the
reciever is not as good as the Omni D (or at least close), I will probably
have to pass.
