One of my thoughts in giving a Corsair II a trial run was that it did not
have DSP or a PLL and was almost a 1/3 less in cost than a used Omni VI+. I
had the impresseion that some people's experience with noise from the PLL
and DSP was a negative in the Omni VI+, while the added features of dual
VFO's (w/o having an external module), memories etc, made up for that
internal noise. I know on paper what it says, but many of you may have
graduated from a Corsair II to an Omni VI+ - which, who knows, maybe I will
too - so I would be interested to know if any of you VI+ owners even
remotely missed the Corsair because of the above items. I suspect not, but I
