I live in the pro audio world and own a bunch of pro mics so I make adapters so I can plug them into my ham rigs. The more important issue is, will I have to do add makeup gain and do a ton of EQ to get a good pro mic to sound good on the ham rig. I had to do that with my Omni V and my EV RE27, and that mic is pretty flat.
