I don'tknow aobut the jupiter but the receiver in my omni6+ has a way
better
s/n radio because of a superior dsp than the 746 does.  I can hear weak
signals far better on the onmi6+ and the noise level is so much lower it
is
more pleasent to listen to the tem tec.  I sold my Icam abnd bought 2
ts-b
2000s insted so I could have a high power do all mobile and a rig to
work am
at the house.  the Kenwood is still no where as good as the Omni6+ for a
receiver either!!!
