Bob, I had a simalar problem a few years ago with my Omni VI+. I was told that it might be dirty connectors and you could check it out by switching with the rit. I dont remember the numbers on the wires but that was not the problem anyway. The problem was a dirty connector where it went onto the encoder. Took it off and cleaned it and has been working FB ever since. That tip was from Dave,K1FK. It saved me from buying a new encoder. Good luck 73 Paul K9OT |
