I agree! Ham radio is suppose to be a learning experience. Half of the fun is learning and trying new things. The day I stop learning,is the day I will give it up.

and easy to explain and understand.

Ham radio is about learning how radio works, how electronics works,
how propagation works. If those concepts don't interest you, perhaps
you belong on the citizens band.
