Yeh, but you don't carry those on airplanes, Dave.
I'm pretty sure they have bpf's, either ICE or Dundstar.
I'm looking for specifics on the TS-590.
Changing the transceivers will be an absolute last resort.
Of course I'm already kidding them with, "if they had bought a pair of
Eagles, they wouldn't have this problem!" ;-)

K2LSA....around the late '70s, when all those old tube rigs were replaced
with FT101's and TS520's....we had wicked problems like this.
We ended up getting single band low pass filters from ....?? someone that
advertised in QST.
This solved the problem!
