A bigger iron might be in my future. Definitely! A bigger iron means less time heating up the pads and surrounding connections. (less damage) A 240 watt Weller gun does this well for me. Big "Black Beauty" irons do well, also. Be sure to use lots of "solder-wick." Or a good vacuum solder-sucker.Perry w8au |
