In our ever growing quest lighten the weight on DXpedition luggage, I'm looking for an alternative feed line for RX antennas. Does anyone have data on the impedance and line loss of twin lead (speaker wire)? I'm assuming that some form of speaker wire would have less weight than RG-8X? Belden used to make 72 ohm twin lead for transmissions, but I don't think it's still available. Many thanks, Kenny K2KW _______________________________________________ Topband mailing list Topband@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/topband |
