A technical clarification ... although JT65 users will specify USB
carrier (dial) frequency, the software uses a nominal 1270.5 Hz sync
tone with activity spreading +/- 1 KHz. The actual occupied spectrum
would be approximately 1838.270 to 1840.500 KHz.
Most JT65 activity is relatively low power - typically between 10 and
50 watts on HF.
